We are getting ready to do our shopping, and so there will be lots of posts this month as we share more books that we are reading.
This month we are going to concentrate summarizing the story in three sentences. For example, I enjoyed reading a book called Ish to the kindergarten and first grade classes. My blog would look something like this:
In November I read Ish by Peter Reynolds. Ramon loves to
draw, but his brother Leon laughs at his drawings because
they don't look "real". Ramon is discouraged and decides
to stop drawing. However, his sister Marisol tells him his
drawings are "ish," which means they are close. Ramon
discovers he loves to draw tree-ish, flower-ish, and
other -ish pictures.

I read The Sisters Grimm,by Michael Buckley. The girls are determined to find out the secret about their grandma! MB in 3R
In Nov. I read Wolves it was by Victor Gentle and Janet Perry. The best part was when it talked about the pups. New pups are blind and cannot hunt for themselves. Mothers protect them and feed them her milk. When they are able to see, they want to explore. The pups meet the pack. The wolves greet the pups with yips and howls and lots of licks. Sometimes the pups get bitten,barked at, and nudged into their place in the pack.

In November i read Blizzard of the Blue Moon by Mary Pope Osborne. When Annie comes back from the library she finds out another adventure awaits. Because the tree house is back. This time they go back in time to New York to save a unicorn named Divine Flower of Rome. But when they meet two people that work for the dark wizard they find themselfs in troble because if they get the black rope around the unicorns neck the poor unicorn will be traped in the dark world forever. Not only that but they will also use his magic. Now its up to save him will they use his magic or will they save him if you read it you will find out. AG in 3R
In November I read Diary of a Wimpy Kid. My faveorite part was in the beginning of the book when the main character Greg explains that he does not write in diary that it is a jurnal. Greg explains it is a jurnal so the next kid at shcool does not push him down and call him a sissy.

In Nov. I read Junie B. Jones and her big fat mouth it was by Barbara
Park. The best part was when it was Job Day. Everyone except for her laugh she didn't now what to be when she grow up. Over the weekend she couldn't sleep because she thought of what she is going to be when she grows up. She is going to be the Janiter. She is wareing keys and a panit brush because a Janiter needs those things towork with to get the job done.

In October I read Werewolves Don't Go To Summer camp by Debbie Dadey And Marcia Jones. At Baily city there was a new camp in town. And all of the parrents wanted to sighn their children up too so they all did. Even if their children did not want to. So most of the kids got sighned up in Baily city but the camp was not in Baily city it was in the middle of the woods. So on the way there the children were unhappy about what they were going to. And so Liza said " What if the director is mean"! and Molody said " oh he won't be"! and another girl was getting a little car sick so Molody said " put your head out the window so you don't thorw up on me"!!!! so she did and then she said "oh look at that". And they all looked and it was the sighn to the camp and they were all excited!!! Dt in 3B

In November i read Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery. Anne gos to live with Matthew and Marilli at Green Gables because she is an orphan of Mrs.Spencer. But when she gets there she gets in alot of troble like the kind you guys would not get in to here i will name one of them she accidently gets her friend Diana drunk by giving her wine instead of tea flavoring. Someone also dares her to walk on top of Mrs.Barrys roof. Ok i told you alot of details now its your turn to figure out the rest so read Anne of Green Gables and find out what fun adventures she has. This bunny named Pixie goes to a bunny competion and when they come back Pixie is ill.So Mandy trys to help because her parents are a vet.But Nadia the owner of Pixie does not let her.So they take her to the vet and she feels better.

In November I read Day Of The Dragon King by Mary Pope Osborn. In this story, Jack and Annie found a tree house full of books put there by Morgan le Fay, a magical librarian. Jack and Annie read a book about ancient China where the Emperor wanted to burn all the books in the Imperial Library. So acted like they went to China to stop the Emperor from burning the books. They got lost in a tomb but were saved by an ancient book.

In Nov. I read African wild dogs it was by Victor Gentle and Janet Perry.
The best part was when it said the mother can have 15 pups but they mostly have 7 to 10 pups in all. The other females help feed the pups however they can fake pregnancies sometimes. Most often, more males than females are born.

In November I read Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets by J.K. Rowling. Ron was trying to get Harry out of his house. By a rope Ron had a flyling car because he was a wizard. And so was Harry Potter. But Harry did not have inything wizardy the only thing he had was a wand because he did not live in a wizard house because his parrnts died in a car reck. so Ron was trying to get him out so Harry could go to Ron's house all the was across the country. Junie B., First Grader Shipwrecked by Barbara Park. In this book Roger threw up and the whole class holds their nose. Then their janitor sprinkles some powder on it and a miracie happened. It turns into powder and he sweeps it up in his bucket. At lunch the class let go of their noses. At the end of the day Mr.Scary tells the class they are going to have a play about Christopher Columbus. Junie B. wants it to be a mouse play. Find out the rest when you read this book.

In November I read The 89th Kitten
by Eleanor Nilsson. My most favorite part of the book is when Miss Berry gets the 89th kitten.
At first Miss Berry lived alone.
But then she found a black kitten stuck in a tree.She just had to get it down.So that is what she did.Then she brought him into the
house and told Sandy.Sandy lives a few houses away from Miss Berry.
After that, Miss Berry couldn't bear to see the cats with no homes.
So whenever she came across one she would take it back home with her and then she will tell Sandy.
After awhile the people in the neighborhood started to talk about the amount of cats.Many were complaining.After they got the 89th
kitten a person from the Council came to Miss Berry's house.He said
she could only keep twenty.But after they gave some of the cats homes they ended up with twenty-one.But the Council did not come back.

was when it said stuff about what it eats. It eats cattle, deer, monkeys, birds, fish, lizards, and
alligators last insects. It eats all kinds of meat too. It has strong jaws to help it kill animals
with hard shells like turtles and armadillos.

In November I read Fudge-a-mania by Judy Blume.In Fudge-a-mania they went on vacation and shared a house with Shila Tubman and her family. Peter is also stuck with his little brother Fudge. Fudge's real name is Farley. Fudge does not like to be called Farley.If you call him Farley he will throw a fit. On vacation they meet this girl named Mitsy,she loves to play baseball.Fudge and Peter get to play baseball with Mitsy's uncle,a really great baseball player,his name is Big Apfel.Peter's grandma and Shila's grandpa got married while they were on vacation.Fudge wanted to get married to Shila,but he figured they would already be related so,he decided he did not have to marry her after all. They had a great time on vacation and,Peter figured out Shila is not so bad after all.

In November I read Geronimo Stilton Red Pizza for a Blue Count by Geronimo Stilton. In this book Geronimo,his sister Thea,and his nephew Benjamin go to find Geronimo's cousin Trap,he has disappered to Transratania.There they do not only meet Trap,well and alive,but they also meet two strange mice who live in a strange castle.The two mice's names are Count Von Ratoff,the count, and a young countess Snobella.Turns out Trap is in love with Snobella,and catches her when she falls down the stairs at the ball.Snobella thanks Trap and loves him until he sees her bat wings and jumps away. Snobella thinks Trap does not like her for who she is so,she goes back to her other boyfriend Schnoz von der Nose.Trap tells a joke to the count,and laughs until Trap tells him a very sad story.They make pizzas for the ball's dinner.There is a hunchback who's words are always blending together,but when they are leaving his words are finally clear.When they finally get home Geronimo is so happy to be back home.But,his sister Thea wants him to go to Mousehara.Thea says if Geronimo comes with her she will sell the story to him.What will Geronimo do?

Everyone thinks he is after Harry. Harry, Ron and Hermoine find out that Peter Pettigrew committed the crime.

In Nov. I read Life Cycle of a Dog. It was by Angela Royston. The best part was when the dog was ready to give birth after nine weeks. When the puppies are born and have grown for eight weeks, they are ready to go to new owners.

by Peter Grego. In this book, I read that people used to think the Earth was in the center of the universe! People think there was an explosion called the Big Bang that is still pulling galaxies apart. It would be inpossible to have a medium sized star to orbit a planet. JAP in 3S
In November I am reading Indian in the Cupboard. In this book, Omri puts a plastic indian into a ''magical cupboard'' and without trying, he turned the indian into life! Once that happened, Omri asked the indian what his name was. The indian's namewas Little Bear. Little Bear had a sharp knife and ripped 30 scalps of people! Patrick Omri's friend,wanted to put soldiers in the cupboard but Omri did not let him do that, but without Omri looking, Patrick put a cowboy in the cupboard, and the cowboy came to life! The cowboy and Little Bear had a 'war' between each other. JAP in 3S
