I love The Tales of Despero because it is about a little mouse with big ears and wants to save Princess Pea.My favorite part is when Despero's teacher holds up a pice of cheeseand they say aaahhhh and she holds up a knife and they say aaaaauuuggghhhh except for Despero she says way are you not screaming he says I like it because it lokes like a sord.by T.D.
I love the book Shiloh beacase the owner Jude isint taking goodcare of the dog so a boy sees the dog and acts like Shiloh is lost but he secretly keeped him.You will have to read it to know what happens next!
My third grader is madly in love with the Harry Potter books. She read Sorcerer's Stone but I thought Chamber of Secrets would be too grown up for her so I said I would buy her something else instead. Well her dad took her to Barnes and Noble and she spent her own money on HP Chamber of Secrets and read it in six days. Now she is begging for the next one. I don't want to hold her back but these books seem awful dark and grown up. I would rather wait a couple of years. Any thoughts?
I liked reading Henry and Mudge in Puddle Trouble by Cynthia Rylant. Henry and Mudge always seem to get in trouble but everything usually turns out ok. In this story Mudge saves the kittens at the end. B.S.
